CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Join instructor Kelly Best Bourgeois to paint en plein air at the Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve, 2446 N. Oso Pkwy on Saturday, October 21^st during the wonderful fall season along the Gulf Coast. You will begin at 8:30am in the morning with a demonstration and discussion at the Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve, then artists will set up and paint their own plein air paintings, one in the morning and one in the afternoon after a lunch break.

On Sunday, you will meet at the Art Center of Corpus Christi at 11am for a discussion and question and answer session, followed by studio painting time to add some finishing touches while still maintaining the freshness of your plein air paintings. If you have wanted to learn more about plein air painting, this is a wonderful, relaxed opportunity to do so!

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU REGISTER:

This is a TWO-DAY workshop. The Art Center of Corpus Christi does NOT issue any refunds unless the center cancels the class. Please make sure to be on time and bring plenty of water and bug spray as this class will be outdoors for the first day! DON’T FORGET TO READ THROUGH THE SUPPLIES LIST AND THE KNOW-BEFORE-YOU-GO PARAGRAPH WRITTEN BY THE INSTRUCTOR.
